VIPRE Internet Security - I feel safe to do my everyday activities online!

I have used VIPRE for many years, and I have yet to be let down. It's great anti-virus software, which blocks all those nasty bugs that attack our computer. In the past I've always used the free AVG. It has always seemed to do the trick. What I didn't care for was the pop up window that always comes up when I get an email that says "scanning email" - mostly just a distraction. I'm not sure if that could be turned off or not? The menus always look like ads (because they are).  I like how VIPRE Internet Security software works behind the scenes when receiving emails. I ran a scan while working on another project and using the internet and it didn't slow down my computer at all.

 

My overall Review, VIPRE Internet Security software is like a condom for my computer, I have told people for years, an unprotected computer is like unprotected sex, you will catch a virus. I have no worries with VIPRE. I feel safe to do my everyday activities online and not be hacked by some nut in another country, or another town for that matter. VIPRE has been a staple on my computer for years, and I have no plans to change anything anytime soon. Although I do not shop online, just am yet to feel comfortable enough to give my numbers out to anyone in the internet world, with VIPRE, I would feel a lot more comfortable, not saying I would begin a shopping spree, but I would not do it without VIPRE Security on my computer.

Another thing that really impressed me is that they us customer support people here in the UNITED STATES. THANK YOU! It’s great to see a company use US employees rather than have someone thousands of miles away in a foreign country answering my questions. Too many companies are quick to want to save a buck or two and outsource to other countries where they can pay their employee pennies a day. I like using US based customer service reps too because it helps when there isn’t a language barrier.

 

VIPRE has online chat tech support too. I cannot tell you how great that is to have. I have an online chat support with my website host and I use it every time there is an issue. For me it’s easier to do a chat then it is to talk on the phone.

 

Tech support both online and over the phone is available from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. I like that they have late hours too. That works out great for people who have to work. Often customer service is only available from 9:oo AM – 5:00 PM.
